Understanding ring sizes

Ring sizes are based on an alphabetical scale; the smallest size in theory would be A while the largest would be Z. Realistically very few women have smaller fingers than a size J and as such, most customers will find that they're looking for somewhere in between J and O.

Availability of rings in specific sizes

We can supply most rings in almost any size. Even if you have an extremely small size I finger or a larger size such as a Q, we can order these as a Special Order for you. Unlike some other jewellers, we do not charge extra for this - any extra costs for unusual sizes are borne by us, not you.

The current availability of any ring will depend on the size you're looking for; it will help speed up the processing of your order if you specify on the order form if there are any alternative sizes to your preferred size.

In the best case scenario, your ring may be available for delivery in 2-3 working days. However depending on the particular ring, the size and current availability, it can sometimes take up to 4-6 weeks. Remember that you can always submit an Availability Request before ordering, if you would like to check current stock.

If you do order a ring that is a Special Order or will otherwise take longer  than a few days for delivery, we will always contact you to let you know the timescale and options before we go ahead with the order.

Ring resizing

Most rings can be sized up and down with relative ease, depending of course on the style of the ring. A full eternity ring, for example, would have to be ordered in the correct size as the diamonds or gemstones circle the entire finger, but most other rings are based on a simple gold ring shank with the detail on the front half and as such, can normally be sized.

We do not offer a stand alone ring sizing service, however will do our best to help customers with items they have purchased from us.

Do you need a ring for a particular date?

In practical terms, it may be that the specific ring size you need isn't or won't be available in time for a special occasion, especially if it's imminent. If this is the case, there are still a couple of options - (1) you could purchase a different size to ensure that the ring is suitable, and then return it within 7 days for the correct size which we'll then send out as soon as we have one available, or (2) we could simply arrange to have a ring of a different size altered to the correct size for you. We're happy to discuss the options with you; please email us and we'll do what we can.
